Telepaths own everything in the known universe, and they just collectively voted to welcome Thomas as one of their own. After all, Thomas is an orphaned telepath who might become a powerful leader–never mind his neuromuscular disease, and never mind the fact that he grew up on a backwards, “primitive” planet known as Earth. Telepaths will never dismiss Thomas as too young or too disabled to achieve greatness.
But he’s not allowed to rescue his able-bodied foster family and friends. He needs to act like a civilized telepath and let the humans die in an alien slave ghetto.
